...Brian was offered two interviews, he took the offer of the first one as a messenger boy at a top London Ad agency, He couldn’t find his way to the second one at a cartographers!
... Brian started his advertising career in 1965, way back when God was only a boy. His messenger boy colleagues used to run behind buses and claim the bus fare, Brian ran behind cabs and doubled his salary. He very soon got to run the mail room and he wasn’t even 20 years old.
...After biting the ankles of the agency’s Creative Director Brian was eventually given a job in the creative department. He went on via several different top worldwide agencies to be Art Director/Writer through to Creative Director, with a seat on the board, working on many of the world’s top blue chip clients.

...He has become famous in the industry for his long relationship with the Daily Mail, writing his first commercial for the paper way back in 1981, the first of many, many successful, circulation building TV ads.
...The late Sir David English, Chairman and Editor-In-Chief at Associated Newspapers once said, “If Brian gives up advertising there’s always a job at the Mail for him, as a reporter”.
Producing high quality, fast turnaround, low budget commercials has earned Brian a Guinness World Record, he has written and directed more commercials than anyone in the world, at the last count the figure stood somewhere north of 1,880.
... He also, on several occasions has busted records by getting ads from brief to on air in a matter of hours, and it must be said without losing any of the quality whatsoever. The Editors at the Mail christened him ‘Cecil B. De Watson’.
...It has been since 1992 that Brian has been on both sides of the camera, he’s even appeared in a few. The many shoots have been so enjoyable that film crew queue up to work with him. Brian’s theory is, “ Happy shoots show on the celluloid”.
... Brian works at break neck speed and has been known to shoot 30 set ups in one day. Every one of his shoots has a myriad of funny stories attached to them, there are a wealth of stories to be told and if you’re unlucky Brian will tell them.

...This all goes hand in hand with his many other talents, writing comedy, many a script has appeared on TV.
...Writing lyrics, listen to his many novelty songs especially ‘Mr Blairman’ which caused a fair bit of controversy. With his song writing partner David Smart he is currently engaged in several new ballads, and writing songs for Julienne Irwin who was a finalist in a recent 'America’s Got Talent' series. Their pride and joy though is the stage musical that they are currently putting the finishing touches to.
...He claims that “if an idea isn’t dangerous, it isn’t an idea at all”. Get Brian on a story about some of the famous faces he has worked with and you will get many laughs, his impersonations of those celebrities are pretty good too.
... Brian’s other favourite pastime is humour, many a bad joke or groanable pun are what he has become known for amongst his friends and colleagues.
... A huge Tommy Cooper fan, he has been known to hold up the proceedings to go through his vast repertoire of Cooper gags, complete with the actions and the voice.
